I'm not an "Apple guy." I don't own any products, even the iPod. I don't really have any "anti-Apple agenda," but I am not a big fan of their closed, proprietary ways. They do make some cool gadgets, but I do tend to think many of their devices fall somewhere between overpriced and just downright superfluous. To each his own.
Despite my relative disinterest in Apple products, I was quite fascinated in the big iPad announcement the other day. So much so that I logged in and followed the live blog over at Engadget.
My opinion falls somewhere among the consensus. It seems like a big iTouch or an underpowered Tablet PC and the name is just awful. Even at a seemingly lower than expected price entry point, I still think it's too expensive.
Well that's my half-hearted take on the iPad. Now, here's Hitler's rant....
