Welcome to Digital Geekery. This site was spawned as a way indulge my creativity while integrating a few passions. The main theme is, of course, tech stuff. What I like to refer to as "Geekery."
I've worked for years in IT. The greatest chunk of that time was spent toiling for a Fortune 500 company that was, well, conservative to say the least. Said company was not exactly at the forefront of current technology and things tended to get a little boring. [Yawwwn.] Wow, I'm getting drowsy just thinking about it.
That soul-crushing corporate drudgery spawned my need for a more creative outlet. Digital Geekery is my way of combining my tech "geekery" with interest in writing, animating, and creating videos. Plus, I like to think I can toss a little humor your way from time to time, but as the late Patrick Swayze said in Roadhouse, "Opinions vary."
So anyway, this is my project. I transferred much of the contents of a former project, budgetnerd.com, here as well. So, if you were familiar with that little site, or were redirected here, you're are in the right place.
