DVD & Video
DVD Flick is a nice little DVD Authoring tool that can convert most common video file formats and burn them to a DVD that you can play in your DVD player. If you're anything like me, your hard drive is loaded with video files. Perhaps you have your own PVR setup and want to convert some of the programs you've recorded to DVD, or movies you've taken with your video camera, DVD Flick is great way to easily convert those files to a DVD. Check out my video tutorial below to see how to use DVD Flick.

FairUse Wizard 2.8 is an outstanding application for converting DVDs to AVI files. This recently updated release features the ability to convert multiple shows or segments from a DVD at one time. The free "Light" Edition has all the functionality I need and a "pay" version of the application ($29.99) allows you to create files bigger than 700 MB and has setting to convert to Ipod, Xbox 360, and more.
