Stream Music to your Android Phone Easily with Dropbox

device4Dropbox is a great solution for sharing and syncing files between multiple computers. However, some of you may not be aware that you can use Dropbox to stream mp3 files to multiple devices, including your Android phone.

First, you'll need an Dropbox account, which you can sign up for at the Dropbox website. You may also want to download the Dropbox app for Android, but you can also use Dropbox from the Android web browser.

Determine Your Internet Connection Speed in Android

Reviewing the iArmBands Armband for the... Droid?

android_1A few months ago I set out to search the interwebs for a quality armband for my Motorola Droid. As an avid runner and geek, I loved the idea of being able to run with what is basically a computer strapped to my arm. With Pandora and a run tracker app installed, I had dreams of some sort of 3G runner's nirvana. Listening to streaming music while my distance, speed, and route are tracked by a running app.

After doing a little Googling, checking some forums, and perusing Amazon, I didn't really find anything specifically crafted for the Droid. I did however come across the iArmBands Armband for the Nexus One and other Android phones. One of the reviewers stated he used it for the Droid, so I gave it a shot.

Reviewing the RunKeeper Free App for Android

runkeeper-a1I was completely convinced I would absolutely love this app when I first downloaded it. What RunKeeper Does (is supposed to do)  is use the built-in GPS in your phone to track your fitness activities, including duration, distance, pace, speed, elevation, calories burned, and path traveled on a map. If you create a RunKeeper account, you can even store all of your historical activities on the RunKeeper website. It can chart activities like running, cycling, walking, hiking, skiing, wheelchair, and more.
