You can "Map" a shared folder on your home network to make it appear just as an additional drive would in Windows Explorer. You assign it a drive letter, and it appears under Computer like any other drive. Mapping a network folder as a drive gives you another, perhaps easier, method of accessing a folder.
Open Windows Explorer. On the toolbar, click on Map network drive.

Select a drive letter from the "Drive" dropdown box. Select any available letter.

To select the folder for your mapped drive, click on the Browse... button. (Or type in the direct path).

Select your folder and click OK.

Select the checkbox for Reconnect at logon if you want this drive to be reconnected the next time to restart. Click Finish.

Now, you will see your mapped drive show up as a Drive under Computer in Windows Explorer.

If you no longer want the folder to show up as a mapped drive, right-click on it and select Disconnect.
