Add Network Logos to your Windows 7 Media Center Channel Guide

logo_smThere is a lot to like about Media Center in Windows 7, but I'm always looking for ways it can be better. If you have a TV tuner card installed in your system and use Media Center for TV viewing, then you are familiar with the TV Guide listings. It's not bad, it gets the job done, but it lacks those pretty channel logos that commercial DVR systems have.

A cool little app called My Channel Logos makes it easy to to add those network logos to any Windows 7 Media Center setup that utilizes a TV tuner. Plus, you can even get creating and add you own custom designed logos to your channels.

Check out the steps from my article over at How-to Geek.

You can go here and download the program. The developer pushes really hard for a "recommended donation" of $3. Don't get me wrong, I think it's worth $3. However, if you want to try it for free, the link to circumvent the donation is minuscule and navigates you through a few "Please donate" pages before finally taking you to the free download.
